Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using BookingPlus ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and BookingPlus, operated by Boilers4You Ltd ("we", "us", "our").

2. The Service

BookingPlus is a job management platform for tradespeople and service businesses. We provide tools for calendar management, customer records, appointment reminders, and team coordination. The Service is provided via web application and mobile app.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. One person or business may not maintain more than one free account.

5. Subscriptions and Payment

Free accounts are available with limited features. Paid plans (Pro, Pro+, Team) are billed monthly. Prices are in GBP and exclusive of VAT where applicable. You may cancel your subscription at any time — access continues until the end of the current billing period. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. No refunds are provided for partial months.

6. SMS Credits

Paid plans include a monthly SMS allowance. Unused SMS credits do not roll over. SMS overage is charged at the published rate (currently 10p per message). SMS delivery is provided via third-party services and is subject to their terms and network availability. We do not guarantee delivery of every SMS message.

7. Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you enter into BookingPlus, including customer records, job details, and notes. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your data. You grant us a licence to host, store, and process your data solely to provide the Service. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling.

8. Data Export

You may export your data at any time via the CSV export feature. If you delete your account, we will provide a data export upon request within 30 days.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services including Google Calendar (for calendar import), ClickSend (for SMS delivery), and payment processors. Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third party's terms. We are not responsible for the availability or performance of third-party services.

10. Google Calendar Integration

When you connect your Google Calendar, we access your calendar data in read-only mode solely to import events into BookingPlus. We do not modify, delete, or share your Google Calendar data. You can disconnect your Google Calendar at any time from within the app. Our use of Google user data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

You use the Service at your own risk. We are not responsible for any decisions made or actions taken based on information provided by the Service.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, BUSINESS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £100, whichever is greater.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

14. Service Availability

We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uptime. We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will endeavour to provide reasonable notice of planned downtime.

15. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in abusive behaviour, or fail to pay for your subscription. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days before permanent deletion, unless you request immediate deletion or a data export.

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

17. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
